EIGHTH EDITION OF THE MAST PHOTO GRANT SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED

The five finalists of the eighth edition of the MAST Photography Grant on Industry and Work selected by the Jury are: Felicity Hammond, Gosette Lubondo, Silvia Rosi, Sheida Soleimani, Kai Wasikowski.

The finalists will have 10 months – from January to October 2024 – to complete their research projects on the topic “Industry, Society and Territory”.

The exhibition of the shortlisted projects will be on show at the MAST in early 2025.

LAUNCH OF THE EIGHTH EDITION

On June 26th the Jury met to launch the eighth edition of the Grant.

The selected nominators will identify the candidates who will be invited to take part in the award.

HICHAM GARDAF NOMINATED WINNER OF THE SEVENTH EDITION

The Jury met on January 24th to select the winner of the seventh edition of the MAST Photography Grant / 2023. The works were all considered of a very high quality.
Hicham Gardaf was nominated as winner of the contest.

Special mention of the Jury to Lebohang Kganye.

THE EXHIBITION OF THE SEVENTH EDITION OPENS AT MAST

The works of the five finalists of the Grant – Farah Al Qasimi, Hicham Gardaf, Lebohang Kganye, Maria Mavropoulou, Salvatore Vitale – will be on show from January 25th to May 1st 2023.
The winner will be announced on January 25th 2023.
To celebrate fifteen years of commitment to the Grant, the works of all the finalists since 2008 will also be on show.

The five finalists of the Seventh Edition of the MAST Foundation for Photography Grant on Industry and Work selected by the Jury are: Farah Al Qasimi, Hicham Gardaf, Lebohang Kganye, Maria Mavropoulou, Salvatore Vitale.

The finalists will have 8 months – from February to October 2022 – to complete their research projects on the topic “Industry, Society and Territory”.

The exhibition of the shortlisted projects will be on show at the MAST in early 2023.

Alinka Echeverría nominated winner of the sixth edition

The Jury met on October 6th to select the winner of the sixth edition of the MAST Photography Grant 2020. The works were all considered of a very high quality.
Alinka Echeverría was nominated as winner of the contest.

THE EXHIBITION OF THE SIXTH EDITION OPENS AT MAST

The works of the five finalists of the Grant – Chloe Dewe Mathews, Alinka Echeverría, Maxime Guyon, Aapo Huhta and Pablo López Luz – will be on show from October 8th 2020 to January 3rd 2021.

The winner will be announced on October 7th.

THE FINALISTS OF THE MAST FOUNDATION FOR PHOTOGRAHY GRANT, SIXTH EDITION

The five finalists of the Sixth Edition of the MAST Foundation for Photography Grant on Industry and Work, selected by the jury are:
Chlowe Dewe Mathews (United Kingdom), Alinka Echeverría (Mexico/United Kingdom), Maxime Guyon (Switzerland), Aapo Huhta (Finland), Pablo López Luz (Mexico).

The finalists will have 9 months – from December 15th , 2018 to September 15th , 2019 – to complete their research projects on the theme “Industry, Society and Territory”. A tutor will follow their projects and provide a reference point for the artists.

MAST FOUNDATION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY GRANT ON INDUSTRY AND WORK 2018

The exhibition of the works of the four finalists Mari Bastashevski (Denmark-Russia), Sara Cwynar (Canada), Sohei Nishino (Japan) and Cristobal Olivares (Chile), curated by Urs Stahel, will take place at MAST from January 31st until May 1st, 2018.
The winner of the fifth edition of GD4PhotoArt will be announced on the occasion of the opening of the show. Starting from this year the competition will change its name and will become MAST FOUNDATION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY GRANT ON INDUSTRY AND WORK.
